The Jasper Fire Department has a full-time Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, Captain of Training and Development, Captain of Fire Prevention and about 30 volunteer firefighters.
The Fire Department provides safe, professional, and timely emergency response.
Our firefighters come from different jobs and backgrounds. Each person brings their expertise and strength to the team. We train to build skills and prepare for emergencies.
Response Area
We respond to emergencies in:
- The town of Jasper
- Jasper National Park
- Areas along Highway 16 into British Columbia.
We respond to various types of emergencies, including:
- Vehicle collisions
- Fires
- Dangerous goods incidents
- Medical emergencies
- Wildland-Urban Interface incidents
- Special rescue incidents
