Wildwoods Base Camp is a summer day camp for your child who wants to explore, create and grow outdoors.
Through hands-on experiences in nature, children build confidence, leadership skills, and creative expression- while
making new friends
Who is this program for?
Children who have completed kindergarten up to Grade 6.
Where is the program located?
This program home base is in the Jasper Activity Centre.
What days and time does this program occur?
The program operates Monday to Friday with the exception of statutory holidays from 8:15-5:30
What happens at Wildwoods Base Camp?
- Outdoor skill development and nature connection
- Creative arts and expression
- Teamwork, leadership and confidence building
- Opportunities to make new friends and make lasting connections
- Nature play, team challenges and creative projects
- Led by trained and experienced educators
How does the admission process work?
- Contact the program to see if there is available space. You can email outofschoolcare@jasper-alberta.ca or call 780-852-8173
- Complete and return the application forms and parent handbook to the program.
- You will visit the facility prior to enrollment for orientation to get to know the educators, programs and ask questions.
- During orientation, staff will explain our policies and procedures.

What to Bring
Please send your child with the following each day:
- Indoor shoes
- Healthy lunch and snacks
- Water bottle
- Extra clothes
- Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing and shoes
- A healthy, nut-free lunch will be required on full days (see guidelines in the nutrition policy).
- Seasonal clothing - rain wear and a sun protection (sunscreen and a hat).
- Activity-specific clothing (such as a bathing suit and towel) based on activities that are planned.
